This three-week training aims to prepare judges to perform their anti-corruption duties; share the experience of other specialized courses on anti-corruption in other European countries (Slovakia and Serbia); discuss the role of a specialized anti-corruption court and associated institutions in the fight against corruption.

Supported by the European Advisory Mission in Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine), the European Pravo-Justice project and the European Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), this program emphasizes the competence, integrity and independence of judges.

The appointment of the 38 judges was confirmed on April 11, and the court will begin its work in June 2019. Ambassador Hugues Mingarelli, head of the European delegation in Kyiv, said that the European Union would be ready to ensure the smooth functioning of the court: " if you need more help, we'll be here for you ».
