The river brigade of Bamako has recently been equipped with a new speedboat. This donation was made by EUCAP Sahel Mali on February 27 during a ceremony at the Bamako yacht club.

Ten soldiers from the River Gendarmerie in Bamako and Mopti received theoretical and practical training in order to be able to maintain the new boat. The ship was delivered with a trailer which will allow the boat to be moved and used by road throughout the territory.

The European mission also gave the Malian scientific and technical police some equipment intended for collecting evidence during investigations: overalls or gloves, for example, necessary to avoid any pollution of an offense scene.
