Malian, Togolese and Guinean gendarmes share the school benches

(B2) Gendarmes from Mali, Togo and Guinea Conakry together follow the higher course of Gendarmerie.

Started in October 2018, this nine-month training is provided by trainers from the Malian National Gendarmerie, supported by the European mission responsible for training and assisting the Malian internal security forces, EUCAP Sahel Mali. The latter is responsible for training trainees in management, ethics, human resources management, as well as human rights and gender. The training aims to prepare candidates to assume command positions upon completion of the training.
