The reception in Belgium of Ukrainian soldiers wounded in combat will continue

(B2) Belgium has decided to continue to support Ukrainian soldiers injured in the fighting in eastern Ukraine. Defense Minister Didier Reynders confirmed this on Thursday (7 February). In 2019, the Neder-over-Heembeek hospital (in the Brussels suburbs) will receive six Ukrainian soldiers wounded in combat. Belgium bears the transport costs and the costs of medical treatment. A Defense team traveled to Ukraine at the end of January to identify the patients with the help of the Ukrainian authorities. A first group will arrive in March in Belgium for a treatment of approximately six weeks.
