The reception in Belgium of Ukrainian soldiers wounded in combat will continue

(B2) Belgium has decided to continue supporting Ukrainian soldiers injured in the fighting in eastern Ukraine. Defense Minister Didier Reynders confirmed this on Thursday (February 7). The Neder-over-Heembeek hospital (in the Brussels suburbs) will receive six Ukrainian soldiers injured in combat in 2019. Belgium covers transport costs and medical treatment costs. A Defense team traveled to Ukraine at the end of January to identify the patients with the help of Ukrainian authorities. A first group will arrive in Belgium in March for treatment of approximately six weeks.
