Wolfgang Wosolsobe died… too soon

(B2) General Wolfgang Wosolsobe has just died suddenly. The information was confirmed by the Austrian and European authorities.

Of Austrian nationality, W. Wosolsobe was the director of the EU general staff and always defended a European vision, with accuracy and passion, without exaggeration. He was always ready, when we met him, to clarify certain points which had escaped us or to challenge certain of our analyzes which they considered a little too critical. All with this smile that rarely left him, with a very Austrian elegance and friendliness.

This Francophile, of will and love, was secretary general of the Franco-Austrian Center for rapprochement in Europe.

B2 extends to his loved ones, his children in particular, all his sympathy at this painful time.
