A 2e REI legionnaire dies in Iraq. An accidental cause says the staff

(B2) A legionnaire of the 2nd REI of the Foreign Legion died following Wednesday (March 21) afternoon, in Baghdad in an accidental fall, indicated the staff of the armies at the end of the evening.

Born on March 14, 1987 in Poland, he joined the Foreign Legion on August 14, 2013 and spent his entire career with the 2nd Foreign Infantry Regiment of Nîmes. In service with the 2nd Foreign Infantry Regiment, Corporal Bogusz Pochylski was engaged in Iraq within the Task Force Narvik in charge of training Iraqi soldiers for the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service. His section was carrying out a reconnaissance of the site of the Radwanya Palace Complex, former residence of Saddam Hussein, with a view to organizing a training session for the benefit of Iraqi security forces.
