Their journey is different. lamia Aji Bashar tries to return to a normal life. At 19, and 6 months after escaping the clutches of the Islamic State, she found refuge here in Germany, where she lives with her sisters. Nadia Murad travels the world to tell his story. At 23, she lost her six brothers and her mother in the conflict. She wants to have the massacre of the Yezidis recognized as a genocide.
