(BRUSSELS2) It was in freezing cold that 400 members of the special forces and 13 helicopters from four countries (Belgium, Slovenia, Austria, Italy) closed, this Wednesday (30 November), a "life-size" exercise on the Florennes Air Base (near Charleroi). Entitled Black Blade, this exercise organized (as every year) by the European Defense Agency aimed to integrate land and air units from several Member States to train them to work together around scenarios as close as possible to certain troubled realities. : reconnaissance missions, protection of convoys (on the ground and in the air), attack on threatening objectives, arrival of special forces to free hostages, evacuation of nationals or wounded...
