A European battlegroup made in UK. Yes Yes !

(BRUSSELS2) That’s the irony of the story. At the very moment when the British are preparing to leave the Union, they will have, in the next six months, from July 1, a rapid reaction force (battlegroup) under their command and made up largely of subjects of His Gracious Majesty (with Nordics, Irish and Balts).

The famous invasion of the United Kingdom by the European army as the Daily Mail said a few days ago (after a lot of smoking and drinking) will certainly not take place (Read: Big news! The European army exists. The Daily Mail met her). But it would be quite a reversal if, for the first time, where the European Union engages a battlegroup outside, it is the British who go out to pound the pavement or flutter in the sand under the blue flag with 12 stars.

This remains theory for the moment... Because until now, even when the conditions seemed right, the defense ministers of the European Union have always hesitated to move from theory to practice. If I were a bookmaker, after having lost a lot in the Brexit polls, I would not play, to make up my money, on this kind of commitment, or at least 100 to 1!

  • What worries me is that the Americans, via their NATO, are strengthening their military potential in all EU countries, in the near periphery, or less close to Russia. The British are only preparing a new complementary "coalition".. The British are indeed the unconditional saviors of the USA,... They are therefore only the "relays" of decisions across the Atlantic.. The only solution for all European countries: to leave the American NATO, to create – really – a European defense, and welcoming the other “European”, Russia, in order to mark the contours of a Europe as De Gaulle wanted, without the Americans….. It was Sarkozy who plunged our country back into in American dependency, and isn't it Hollande who wants to reinstall American bases on our territory?… Everything seems to be in place for a confrontation of the Americans (and their boxes of tools of war (our flesh-to- guns), against Russia. Am I wrong?
