2 Dutch Minusma soldiers killed in a shooting exercise

(BRUSSELS2) Two Dutch MINUSMA soldiers died during a mortar firing exercise south of Kidal (Mali) on Wednesday (July 6): Sergeant 1st Class Henry Hoving (29) and Corporal Kevin Roggeveld ( 24 years). They belonged to Charlie Company of the 13th Infantry Battalion of the 11th Airmobile Brigade in Assen. A third 23-year-old soldier was seriously injured and repatriated to the Netherlands. First operated at the Kidal military hospital, he was repatriated on Friday (July 8) to the Netherlands and hospitalized at the central military hospital in Utrecht.
