The best original score
Three study centers and/or foundations — the Center for Studies on Integration and Globalization (CEIM), the Endowment Fund Open Source Intelligence on Politics (OSINTPOL) and the Group for Research and Information on Peace and Security (GRIP) — have come together to award a “Peace and Armaments” prize. Objective: to reward the best analytical note, original, written in French (1). The ambition of the organizers is to develop what is current in the Anglo-Saxon world under the term of Best Paper Competitions.
On the use of weapons
The note must cover areas relating to strategic, legal, ethical, technological, industrial, political and/or economic aspects related to the design, use and trade of conventional arms and other security devices, as well as massive destruction.
Publication and 2500 euros
The first prize will be awarded a grant of 2500€ as well (and above all), the edition and the publication " free and open access to the award-winning text(s) in a format determined jointly by CEIM, GRIP and OSINTPOL ". Deadline for submitting applications, Monday, October 31, 2016 (until midnight).
