(BRUSSELS2) The Europeans of the Malian army training mission (EUTM Mali) are preparing for the transition to its third mandate, which provides for training of the Malian armed forces throughout the territory and no longer only in Koulikoro.

First training in Faladié

Located 80 km north of Bamako, Faladié hosts the Malian gendarmerie NCO school. It is here that the Europeans trained a total of 270 Malian officers and non-commissioned officers as part of the “train the trainers” program during the month of April. “It is a step towards future training with particular emphasis on leadership development in the FAMA headquarters, in the regions “, provided for in mandate 3, explains the mission.

Conditioning of the Segou camp 

Another step towards Mandate “3”: field reconnaissance at the headquarters of Segou, the second military region of Mali.
