On board the Cavour (Operation Sophia)

Staff Eunavfor Med 20160315 - copy(B2) I was able to go for a few days in mid-March to meet European sailors who are working in the Mediterranean off the coast of Libya to help boats loaded with migrants or refugees from the African continent who are trying to reach the European continent.

In these days of spring, it is clear, the Libyan road, which remained rather little used this winter, is clearly reopened.

A traffic that seems very juicy and well organized

Sailors are already preparing for the next phase
