The first Dutch strikes in Syria

(B2) Dutch F-16s struck for the first time in eastern Syria, according to the latest operations report compiled by Dutch forces on Tuesday (16 February). The F-16s led 10 flight missions in Iraq and Syria, targeting ISIS combat positions, military assets and strategic objectives » the organization of the Islamic State (Daesh). The Lower House of the Dutch Parliament voted last Wednesday (February 10) to extend the mission of the Dutch F-16s, based in Jordan, to Syria.
