Equipment for the Palestinian police

(B2) The Palestinian Police Support Mission (EUPOL COPPS) handed over various equipment to the Palestinian Civil Police on Monday (7 December): 474 high visibility winter jackets, safety vests and traffic stop signs. The objective of this equipment is “to further improve traffic policing and raise public awareness of road safety,” indicates a communicated the mission. The mission also delivered dozens of megaphones, headsets and torches to help police improve existing equipment. These deliveries are part of the EU's support to the PCP to strengthen their capabilities in maintaining safety on the roads.
