No more crisis, no more Defense Europe, the Citadelle 2015 workshops

(B2) "BRUXELLES2" / B2 will participate, on Thursday (8 October), in the "Ateliers de la Citadelle" which bears a more than topical title: "No more crisis, no more defense Europe?".

Organized by the Lille Eurometropolis defense and security mission (LEDS), the City of Lille, in partnership with the Jacques Delors Institute, All of Europe.eu, and France-Culture, in the Vauban citadel of Lille, headquarters of the Rapid Reaction Corps, this conference is an important meeting for Defense Europe. A host of experts, elected officials and soldiers will be present. Nicole Gnesotto, President of the IHEDN Board; Louis Gautier, Secretary General for Defense and National Security, as well as Michel Barnier, will introduce and moderate the debates. The first round table (in which I will participate) is devoted to the " speak true with General de Rousiers, Chairman of the European Union Military Committee, Gilles de Kerchove, EU Counter-Terrorism Coordinator, and my honorable colleague from Opinion and the Secret Défense blog, Jean-Do Merchet.

The second round table is titled “ Act fast Veronika Wand-Danielson, now Swedish Ambassador to Paris but who was posted to Brussels for a long time, Pierre Vimont, former Secretary General of the European Diplomatic Service (EEAS), Joachim Bitterlich, former adviser to Chancellor H. Kohl, and Nick Withney, ECFR researcher and former member of the European Defense Agency.
