Health Alert for Trident Juncture 2015
(B2) More than 30.000 soldiers from 30 nations will take part in the "Trident Juncture 2015" exercise, the objective of which is to certify the NATO High Availability Force (VJTF). The first phase, the Command Post Exercise, will take place from October 3 to 16. The real exercise (Live Exercise) will begin next October 21, on the exercise camp of Zaragoza (Spain). The exercise will simulate a conflict between the countries of the Horn of Africa where intertwined ethnic conflicts, refugee crises, conflicts over water resources and the emergence of an "Ebola" type health alert . Despite fictitious country names (Kamon, Lakuta and Tytan), the plans used for the exercise will be real, with special attention paid to Ethiopia and South Sudan.
