A debate on the defense review reduced to a sheet?

(B2) The British government's desire to have the most limited debate on the Strategic Defense Review has fizzled out. The government which has just launched a consultation on the revision of its defense policy wanted to limit the gloss received and imposed a limit of 1500 characters for each response. A bit short ! A process that angered the British deputies of the Defense Committee who wrote a stammer to the government to remove this limit on their free expression. They just got it right. The government has therefore lifted any length limit on responses to its consultation.
