Maneuver in Poland for French armored vehicles

(B2) An armored combined arms tactical subgroup (SGTIA) will go to train, starting Monday (April 20) in Drawsko Pomorskie (west of Poland).

Fifteen Leclerc tanks, four VBCIs (Armored infantry fighting vehicle), three VABs (Armored Forward Vehicles) and an EBG (Armored Engineering Vehicle) will thus be deployed, with 300 French soldiers, for seven weeks.

On the menu, various bilateral and multinational training sessions. What contributes to the measures of " reinsurance decided by NATO for Eastern and Baltic countries. On the side of the Armed Forces Staff, it is assured that this training period meets two objectives: " a real and permanent need for our armed forces and the expression of France's solidarity with its allies in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis ».
