Shelling near Mariupol
(B2) OSCE observers present in eastern Ukraine on Saturday (28 March) denounced the escalation of fighting in Shyrokyne - 20 km east of Mariupol near the sea - controlled by the pro-Russian separatists of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in recent days. The shelling continued until 18:35 p.m., according to Ukrainian and Russian representatives of the Joint Control and Coordination Center in Bezimenne, as well as contacts within the IDP community of Shyrokyne and sporadic small arms and RPG fire continued until approximately 20:40 p.m.
Threatening pro-Russian military
