(BRUSSELS2) The personality of the Russian leader, his coldness, his determination may be surprising. Asked whether mistakes were not made during the Second World War, and particularly at Stalingrad, whether the price was not too heavy for a very small piece of territory, Putin replied: “ I think there are always a lot of mistakes made in war. It's inevitable. But when you fight, if you think about everything around you that could make mistakes, you will never win. You must have a pragmatic attitude. And you must have victory in mind.
