To be a young person and volunteer of the United Nations: until August 26

(B2) The call for applications for United Nations Youth Volunteer (UNV) positions funded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been extended until 26 August 2014 at 12 noon. For 2014, the (French) Ministry of Foreign Affairs is funding eight UNV Youth positions: in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Comoros, Niger, Uganda, Palestine.

Three essential conditions

Among the conditions are:

  1. age = at least 23 years and less than 28 years as of December 31, 2014;
  2. training: Master II or equivalent diploma (Bac + 5);
  3. Fluency in English essential, both written and spoken. Other working languages ​​appreciated.
  4. In principle no experience is required. But specialized internships and experiences in a field relevant to the UNV program will be “ viewed favorably". However, some job descriptions require an experience of one or even two years.
