Kinshasa (Congo). End of the initial training of commissioners of the National Police

The future commissioners of the Congolese National Police (PNC) received an initial training organized jointly by the European police training mission EUPOL RD Congo and the United Nations police (UNPOL). The objective of this workshop was to enable participants to develop two educational tools: the profile of the skills of a commissaire and the curriculum for the initial training of commissaires. This will serve as the basis for drafting the initial training modules for police commissioners, the general programming of the initial training for commissioners and the accelerated training for commissioners. Considering the importance of this workshop, the EUPOL mission also reinforced its pool of CAMO Formation experts by calling on an expert from the Belgian Federal Police during the four days of the workshop. Other international experts, notably from the United Nations Police (UNPOL) and the Delegation of the European Union (DUE), took part in this work.
