EUTM Mali participates in the anniversary of the creation of the Malian army

(BRUSSELS2) General Bruno Guibert, commander of the European training mission of the Malian army (EUTM Mali), as well as a detachment from the European mission took part in the commemoration of the 53e anniversary of the creation of the Malian armed forces, this Monday, January 20. Invited by the Malian authorities, the European trainers marched alongside the international forces present in Mali (Serval and MINUSMA) and 3000 Malian soldiers. Throughout their journey on the Boulevard de l'Indépendance, the soldiers of the mission were warmly welcomed by the Malians, thus testifying to the recognition of the population for the mission of the European Union, it is indicated to EUTM Mali.
