(BRUXELLES2 - exclusive) The appointment of the commander of the EUFOR RCA Bangui operation should be endorsed today by the ambassadors of the COPS (Political and Security Committee). According to our information, it could be the Major General Philippe Pontiès, currently Commander of Force Headquarters number 3 in Marseille. He will officiate from Larissa (Greece), an air base, located between Thessaloniki and Athens, which will serve as Operation Headquarters (OHQ).
