Spain will support the "United Nations" operation with a C-130 aircraft (aka T-10 according to the Spanish name) to " contribute to the logistical transport of the operation in the region ", as well as his " air detachment maintenance and support unit ". " The unit will initially operate with support from French facilities in Gabon (Libreville) and Chad (N'Djamena) » is it specified. The maximum number of personnel deployed shall reach " a maximum of 70 people, including representatives at headquarters”.

No duration is fixed. The text provides for the deployment at least until the comprehensive protection of civilians and the maintenance of the country's security and public order are ensured ". The deployment will be funded from the “Budget for participation of the Armed Forces in peacekeeping operations” (OPEX budget), as for Mali. The Minister of Defense is mandated to " make the necessary operational adjustments, according to the conditions of each moment and to the specific situation on the ground”.
