(B2) Mali's Defense Minister, General Yamoussa Camara, decorated on Friday (June 14) a dozen officers from EUTM Mali, the European training mission of the Malian army: seven French, two British, one German, a Spaniard and a Romanian. “The results achieved at the end of this first training session are very encouraging and bode well for the future of the program. Because it is for us to better prepare our defense tool to face the security contingencies of the moment and also to build a republican army. said Mali's Minister of Defense, Brigadier General Yamoussa Camara. "The European Union Training Mission is part of the logic of helping Mali to better structure, better prepare its forces, better equip them in the long term so that they can fully contribute to security in all its dimensions".

Colonels Vincent Roué (FR), Christophe Paczka (FR), Bruno Heluin (FR*), Ltt Col Fabien Miclot (FR), Pascal Ianni (FR*), Jean Pierre Aubry (FR*), Ludovic Ribierre (FR* ), Lt-Colonel James Melville (UK) and Major Simon Egan (UK), Major Marco Serr (DE*), Lt-Colonel Juan Angel Bote Paz (ESP) and Col. Luigi Mihai Burca (RO) thus received the decoration of Knight of the National Order of Mali.

(*) Not all the officers were present at the ceremony, some (*) having already completed their mission.
