(BRUSSELS2) Meeting in Warsaw, the 6 European leaders in Visegrad/Weimar format (*) agreed, as Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk detailed at the end of the meeting, that “ the construction of European unity (could) be achieved using three tools: "economic and monetary union, the competitiveness of European economies and the strengthening of European defense capabilities ". The construction of Defense Europe thus regains a place that it had not had for years in European construction.

The Defense Ministers - meeting in parallel - expressed in a declaration their will to strengthen their cooperation in the field of defense and to improve the competitiveness of the European defense industry. " We have a common industrial base, employment and technology to enable European defense to have sufficient reliability said French President François Hollande.
