The Eulex Kosovo mission is still recruiting

Logo EulexKosovo(BRUSSELS2) The European Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX Kosovo) is renewing or supplementing its staff. The European Union has just published a relatively complete recruitment notice. About 150 people are thus recruited to carry out its various functions (police, justice, customs) as well as support (logistics, communications, transport, security, etc.).

Most of these positions must be filled between April and August 2013. They are often "profiled" quite precisely. And a solid experience is generally required as well as a first experience in the Balkan area. Perfect knowledge of English, and knowledge of one of the languages ​​spoken (Serbian or Albanian) is "appreciated".

These positions are often recruited by secondment of agents from the Member States but also under contract. In this last category, we thus find the head of the press service (PPIO) or the spokesperson, certain magistrates or jurists (notably for the Mitrovica court, the Court of Appeal, etc.), prosecutors, officers customs officers, Situation Center managers, doctors or certain specialist positions (air operations manager, legal medicine, intelligence, human rights specialist, lawyer assigned to the Property Appeals Commission, management expert civil status registers, etc.).
