Journalists can go to Afghanistan, not MEPs!

(BRUSSELS2) While the European diplomatic service (EEAS) organized a visit for some journalists to Afghanistan (a first, in three years..., to be welcomed), the MEPs showed a certain bad mood. As recalled, with iro, the vice-president of the Defense subcommittee, Norica Nicolai, “ Until now, European parliamentarians had been refused to go there for security reasons. I am therefore delighted to learn that journalists can participate in a visit.
