Arrests of terrorists in Kosovo

(B2) Three individuals suspected of being members of a terrorist organization were arrested by the police forces of the European Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX-Kosovo) The terrorist network is believed to be responsible for the three attacks – in May and June last as well as the very last on October 7 – at the Dobrosin police checkpoint, near Bujanovac. Two of the suspects are even suspected of having been the direct perpetrators of the October attack. The three men were heard this afternoon (October 16) by a judge from the European mission in Gjilan. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, neither after the October attack nor following the two spring attacks. The village of Dobrosin is particularly known for being the place of creation of the Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, an army of Albanian separatists active in the region from 1999 to 2001.
