The EUSEC Congo mission is recruiting 2 specialists

These positions are addressed for the first to an officer (OF 1 or OF2); for the second, a non-commissioned officer or civilian of equivalent rank. Mission experience in Africa is more than recommended. The (official) recruitment deadline is July 31. The start of office should take place on August 15. The working language is French. But fluency in English (spoken, written) is mandatory. The duration of the service is one year in "ideal" specifies the call for recruitment.

Recruitment is carried out on secondment. It means that " only proposals received through the official channels of Member States will be considered”. The salary continues, in fact, to be provided by the Member State of origin; staff receiving on the European side the per diem. The place of work is normally in Kinshasa. But trips can be made outside the Congolese capital, in particular to Lubumbashi, Goma and Bukavu (DRC), other support points of the mission. If several candidates are proposed for a function, a selection committee organized by the mission, supported by the services of the EEAS, will examine the different candidates.
