Fabius in Warsaw on Defense Europe

(B2) Laurent Fabius will be the guest of the annual conference of ambassadors tomorrow in Warsaw around a theme: "what defense for Europe". The French Minister will also have a meeting with his counterpart R. Sikorski. With one objective, as announced by the minister's office: "the relaunch of the Franco-Polish relationship, (...) dialogue on defense issues and the role of the Weimar triangle". They should discuss "particularly issues relating to NATO and the CSDP" and the major international issues of the moment: relations between the European Union and the countries to the East (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine...) - topics dear to the Poles - the situation in Syria, the Sahel and Afghanistan. Other subjects on the program: European economic governance and, last but not least, the negotiations on the financial perspectives of the European Union.
