12 pirates freed, 4 imprisoned in Seychelles

(B2) Before leaving for Denmark, the frigate Absalon engaged in the NATO anti-piracy operation (Ocean Shield) released Thursday evening (May 3), 12 of the 16 suspected pirates arrested on April 11, after an intervention on a mother ship which had allowed the release of Pakistani and Iranian hostages. The other 4 pirates were handed over to the Seychelles courts at the end of April.
