The security of the Belgian embassy in Damascus, inspected

(B2) A Belgian inspection mission will leave “immediately” for Damascus, announced the Belgian Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs (Pieter de Crem and Didier Reynders) to check the security of the Belgian Embassy and its functioning . Objective: to gather precise information on security conditions for staff, to plan the necessary measures, and to study alternatives to the current functioning of the representation. This mission will be composed of an ambassador and two soldiers and should also take up other diplomatic posts in Damascus.
