EU Special Representative in Kosovo confirmed

(B2) The head of EU delegation in Kosovo, Slovenian Samuel Žbogar, was also officially appointed as EU special representative in the country. The Council of Ministers adopted its decision. He therefore combines both functions from February 1; his mandate as special representative runs until June 30, 2013. This appointment allows the European Union to somewhat simplify its representation structure in the Balkans. This is a confirmation for readers of this blog who were already aware of this nomination.
