Suspect arrested in northern Kosovo

(B2) European police forces deployed within EULEX arrested on Thursday (January 26th), in Cabra, northern Kosovo, a man suspected of having participated in the assassination of a Kosovar police officer, last July 26. The investigation into the death of Enver Zymberi is being conducted jointly by police officers and prosecutors from EULEX (the European Union's "rule of law" mission) and their counterparts in Kosovo. NB: This arrest is part of a "normalization" of the situation in northern Kosovo, with an increased presence of European forces.
