Indian ship liberated by pirates

(B2) The Savina Al-Salaam, an Indian-flagged ship, its 16 crew members and 4 Somali passengers, were released Thursday (January 5) without ransom, according to the Somalia Report website. He had been captured on Tuesday (January 3) near the port of Bossasso as he was heading towards Oman with his cargo of animals. Apparently, this confused the pirates who did not expect to find 3620 head of cattle on board. The ship was too unwieldy to serve as a mother ship.
