Demining action in Libya
(BRUSSELS2) 500.000 euros have been released by the European Commission to help clear unexploded ordnance and improvised explosive devices. They will be donated to the Danish Refugee Council demining group. Several teams should be deployed quickly - "in the coming days" - in the regions of Sirte and Bani Walid which have been the subject of fighting recently.
