The Eupol Afghanistan, Congo and Eulex Kosovo missions are recruiting

(BRUSSELS2) Three of the European civilian missions are recruiting this summer.

Afghanistan. . The most important recruitment is that operated in Afghanistan which recruits a hundred trainers intended to operate in Kabul as in the various Afghan provinces (Mazar-e-Sharif, Feyzabad, Kunduz, Meymanah, Herat, Chaghcharan, Lashkar Gah, Tarin Kowt, Bamyan, Kandahar) as in Kabul. These are essentially possibilities offered to public officials or civil servants already in post in one of the 27 Member States or the other States participating in the European mission (Norway, Croatia, Canada, New Zealand, etc.), and seconded for the occasion. Certain "technical" positions - civil engineer, security officer, communications officer, logistics, etc. - as well as certain trainers - essentially with the Ministry of Justice, the Interior or the General Prosecutor - can also be filled by contractual.

Kosovo. The EULEX mission (rule of law) in Kosovo is recruiting about ten agents. Some posts are particularly strategic and reserved for people seconded from the Member States, such as the chief prosecutor of Eulex or the head of the political bureau in particular. Other positions are open to the recruitment of contract workers such as a human rights expert, the special assistant to the head of mission or to the head of the justice mission, two security information analysts, etc.

Congo. Finally, the EUPOL Congo mission is recruiting an officer specializing in public procurement (contract or secondment).
