Pooling and sharing: France offers a school of the future for pilots

(BRUSSELS2) Putting words into action, during the seminar on pooling and sharing, which was held in Paris on July 13, the French army made a very concrete proposal. Why not form together “ our transport aviation pilots explained a senior officer, having a school of the future. " Two options exist: either the joint purchase of an aircraft (intended for training), or via an outsourcing contract by 2016 ". If this project receives a certain number of favorable opinions – notably from the countries purchasing the A400M – this project could be carried out by the European Defense Agency. The advantage is obvious, in our opinion, to avoid going to train in the United States where places are expensive from all points of view (they are limited in number in particular and are not enough for European armies).
