The 2nd workshops of the citadel, it's Thursday in Lille

(BRUXELLES2) The second edition of the "Ateliers de la citadelle" - organized by the Lille Eurometropolis defense security mission - will take place on Thursday 9 June around the theme " War made thinkable again, war made possible? State of play – State of forces ». 'B2' will be present. The great witness of this day will be General Philippe Morillon, former head of Forpronu in 1992-1993, whose intervention could take on a new tenor when the Serbian general Ratko Mladic was arrested, after more than 15 years on the run. And Jean-Raphaël Notton, president of the Union IHEDN, will ensure the moderation of the sessions.

At the first round table, on the inventory (in the morning), we will find: Nicole GNESOTTO, professor at the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (CNAM), German General Georg NACHSTHEIM, Deputy Commander of the Rapid Reaction Corps of Lille ; NATO Assistant Secretary General Jamie SHEA, in charge of the Emerging Security Challenges Division; Henri HUDE, head of the “Ethics and Deontology” center at the Center de Recherche des Ecoles de Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan; Jacques DEWATRE, former director of the General Directorate for External Security (DGSE); Frédéric RAMEL, scientific director of the Institute for Strategic Research of the Military School (IRSEM) .

At the second round table, on the State of the forces (afternoon), will be present: the French general Vincent DESPORTES, former director of the School of War; Hervé COUTAU-BEGARIE, Director of Research at the Ecole de Guerre; Jean-Pierre MAULNY, Deputy Director of the Institute of International and Strategic Relations (IRIS); André DUMOULIN, researcher at the Royal Military School of Brussels; Colonel Michel GOYA, director of the “New conflicts” domain at the Institute for Strategic Research of the Military School (IRSEM).
