The command of the Revolutionary Guards on the Syria list
(BRUSSELS2) After the approval of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs on Monday, the experts did not drag to refine an additional list of people banned from visas in the European Union and whose assets are frozen. Decision applicable from today, the official journal has just published the list which includes 5 individuals and 3 entities targeted for their involvement in the repression against the demonstrators.
This concerns two personalities close to President Bashar Al-Assad: Zoulhima CHALICHE, his first cousin and head of presidential protection, Khalid QADDUR and Riad AL-QUWATLI, "business partners" of Maher Al-Assad, the president's brother. But above all Iranians who came to lend a hand to the regime leading the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps: Mohammad Ali JAFARI, its general commander, Major General Qasem SOLEIMANI, its commander, Hossein TAEB, the deputy commander in charge of Intelligence.
The three companies mentioned are mainly targeted for their financing of the regime: Bena Properties (under the control of Rami Makhlouf), Hamcho International and Military Housing Establishment (alias MILIHOUSE), a public works company under the control of Riyad Chaliche and the Ministry of defense.
