(BRUSSELS2) An air force captain was arrested in The Hague a few days ago after an investigation by the MIVD intelligence service. Working at 313 Squadron, based at Volkel Uden, on F-16s, he was reportedly on the verge of "divulge one or more secrets », according to the indictment revealed today by the Dutch daily The Telegraph, to external sources. According to sources quoted by the newspaper, this 37-year-old man " was in a relationship with a resident of Belarus ". A country which is not quite renowned as a perfect democracy... The opposition is muzzled there in particular by a KGB, led by General Stepan Sukhorenko, whose loyalty to the regime is matched only by his brutality, particularly during the repression of opposition demonstrations. And its president Alexander Lukashenko maintains very good relations with the Libyan leader Gaddafi with whom he is suspected of having provided some support not only politically but also in arms or personnel.
