The pooling & sharing of defense capabilities, seen by Austria

(In Budapest) On what areas should we cooperate, this was also the theme (despite the Libyan crisis) of the informal meeting of defense ministers in Hungary on Friday. The Austrian Defense Minister insisted on regional cooperation. This thus makes it possible to have an "à la carte" approach depending on the country for "pooling & sharing", the new "breasts of defense Europe". He cited a few areas which could be particularly interesting: training or disaster relief, etc. He also specified some areas that need to be assessed: NBC, sharing training facilities, conducting joint exercises, research and development, training and cooperation of special forces or feedback from operational experience.
