The director of the European Defense Agency appointed

Claude-France Arnould will indeed be the new director of the European Defense Agency. The second nomination procedure will have been the correct one. Germany and Italy, which had expressed strong reservations about the method of appointment used by the High Representative, no longer had any pretensions. And the procedure (known as "silence" in writing) was able to go to the end, without negative opinion.
