A Malaysian ship captured by pirates

The anti-piracy headquarters of the European Union (Atalanta) has confirmed the capture of a new ship by pirates, far east of the Somali coast. The MV ALBEDO, a Malaysian container ship flying the flag of that country, was indeed captured 900 miles from Mogadishu (Somalia) in the early morning hours of 26 November. It has a crew of 23 sailors (Pakistani, Bengali, Sri Lankan and Iranian), ferrying containers to Mombasa from Jebel Ali in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In total, the pirates hold 521 hostages and 22 ships.
