A Ukrainian competitor for Airbus in the US tanker market

(BRUSSELS2) There will indeed be a third competitor for the call for tenders for American tanker planes which has pitted Boeing and Airbus against each other since 2001. The Ukrainian Antonov thus confirmed, on October 4, that it would participate in the call for tenders launched by the Pentagon relating to the acquisition of 179 tanker aircraft for the US Air Force, according to the Ria Novosti agency. The deadline has been extended, indicated the CEO of the Ukrainian company associated for the occasion with US Aerospace.
