The Eupol Copps mission awaits its reinforcements… impatiently

(BRUSSELS2) Finally, the European Union could decide to reinforce its personnel of the Palestinian police assistance mission (EUPOL Copps) by a few units. This decision should already have taken effect. The 27 EU ambassadors had agreed on the need for it, fairly quickly. (That is not always the case...). Unfortunately, it seems that for reasons completely incomprehensible to a quidam (even an informed person), this decision has not yet entered into force. Apparently the letter got lost in some hallways. According to the latest news, it would have been "found" and could be signed by Cathy Ashton, the EU's chief diplomat. If it has 5 minutes between two planes...
