Failure at the UN for European diplomacy

(BRUSSELS2) The resolution aiming to give the European Union a slightly higher rank in the UN than it currently has failed to pass. ACP developing countries voted for another resolution calling for a postponement of the debate. They believe that the EU would thus have had a privilege that their regional organizations do not have.
